Delta and different airlines are spending more on refunds than they are taking in from new bookings – that’s referred to as negative web bookings. On Monday it emerged that Ryanair had joined a big variety of other airways, including Aer Lingus, in primarily offering vouchers to passengers whose flights have been cancelled as the coronavirus disaster continues. The transfer infuriated many customers who had beforehand been told that their refunds for cancelled flights were being processed. That triggers refunds to passengers who had tickets and can’t or do not want to be rebooked on one other flight.
